Android Privacy Policy
Last updated · April 6, 2026
This policy explains what data the E1 Android application collects, how that data is used, and the controls you have over it.
Section 01 · Information We Collect
E1 gathers several data categories from Android app users:
Account & profile. Names, emails, profile photos, usernames, encrypted passwords, creator/brand designations, social media handles, and payment information processed through secure providers.
Usage & activity. Campaign history, submissions, in-app messaging, navigation logs, device identifiers, IP addresses, and network connection types.
Device information. Device models, OS versions, hardware specifications, crash reports, performance diagnostics, and app version data.
Section 02 · How We Use Your Information
The platform uses collected data for: creating and managing your account, matching creators with campaigns, facilitating contracts, and processing payments. Additional uses include verification, AI-powered matching, communications, analytics, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
Notably, we do not sell your personal data to advertisers or brokers.
Section 03 · Location Data
Location verification is central to E1's operations. The system collects precise GPS coordinates during campaign check-ins and optional background location data for hyperlocal notifications.
Users can revoke location permissions at any time through Android Settings, though this prevents location-verified check-ins.
Section 04 · Sharing & Disclosure
Data sharing occurs with brands for campaign reporting, payment processors for transactions, social platforms for post validation, infrastructure providers, and legal authorities when required. Third-party providers are contractually restricted from independent data use.
Section 05 · Data Retention
- Active account data — retained while the account is in use.
- Campaign records — minimum 5 years.
- Location logs — 2 years.
- Deleted accounts — personal identifiers removed within 30 days.
- Inactive accounts — subject to deletion after 24 months.
Section 06 · Your Rights & Choices
Users may request access, correction, deletion, portability, processing restrictions, and marketing opt-outs. Requests should be directed to privacy@e1.app with a 30-day response timeline.
Section 07 · Security
E1 implements TLS 1.3 for transit encryption and AES-256 database-level encryption. Payment processing uses PCI-DSS compliant providers without storing raw card data.
Section 08 · Children's Privacy
The Android application is not directed toward children under 13. Creators must be at least 18 to participate in binding contracts and receive payments.
Section 09 · Third-Party Services
Integrations include Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Firebase, and payment processors. Only read-only API scopes are used for social platforms.
Section 10 · Changes to This Policy
Material updates trigger in-app notifications and email alerts with revised effective dates, requiring user acknowledgment for continued access.
